Afrosheep is an independent animation company based in Carmarthenshire, Wales.
Set up in 2017 by Lauren ‘Afro’ born and brought up in East Africa and Jacob ‘Sheep’ hailing from West Wales.
Afrosheep specializes in stop motion animation and has produced a number of short advertising videos for companies such as Cirio, Pilpel, Boka bar, Pure Maple, as well as others.
- (vegball) is a 'Match of the Day' spoof featuring five a side fruit and veg football. Staring characters such as Spuddy Vinegar, Potato Spooney, David Bananaham and many more!
Wimbleberry featuring Andy Strawmurray and Rodger Fraiserer already produced last year (2019).
Afrosheep have created their first children’s book "The Hungry Hamster who ate the Moon!”.
Lauren and Jacob will be spending some time on the road in 2020 promoting this delightful storybook, the first in the series of AniMEALs, funny illustrated rhyming stories featuring hungry animals. Connecting with schools, libraries, bookshops and parents, instilling the joy and importance of reading with young children.

They have produced two short animated films for Bob Holroyd,
one of the UK's leading exponents of ambient/global fusion/chillout music.
Afrosheep are now branching out into other film genres such as 2D animation, motion graphics, Special Effects, illustration, photography and design.
They are currently developing an animated parody fruit and veg sports series for children called PIE SPORTS, which carries a passionate aim for promoting healthy eating for children and adults, releasing the clips alongside major sporting events.
